Serpent's Workings
I am a young aspiring artist, a space case, and a constant dreamer. This is my progression or lack there of, in diversifying my portfolio and my style as an artist.

DigiTime
Two pieces I've been working on and probably having way to much fun with. These designs will most likely end up in a t-shirt or stickers... Maybe a poster or something more.

Fun at school
Some simple typography based on lyrics from Kerli, and Krewella... Someday I'll make these vectors or something fun.
dawn falls short
Playin it up with a different style largely inspired, by Clint Reid his work is right here: http://www.behance.net/beardedbrother
Lately he's got one style I can relate to, and understand.
Below are the single files. Hoping to have these go digital or redrawn and coloured.
"This is the venom in my veins// We will tear through these holds."
"Nothing's Sacred"
"Nothing but hot air and smoke."
"This sinking feeling"

Meet "James"
James is, in many ways, the person that I want to be. He's a reflection of self. He's also more than that. "James" can be anyone. Everyone wears a mask at some point; if you took off his mask, you would see me or you or someone you know. He's a broken kid, that's trying to be happy, and stay positive.
He started out as little more than a spin-off of this graffiti art I had been looking at during class. But he slowly evolved the more I drew him and fell in love.

It's a new goal of mine to start a mini comic of sorts, and have it be like the comics in the Sunday paper. But instead of brainless humor, there would be a point, and a message in each strip. Like the old Calvin and Hobbs comics. So, hopefully there will be plenty of James seen in the future, on a grander scale than just my sketchbook and blog.

2 Fat Birds
My first vector art piece, and I couldn't be happier with how this turned out. Taking it from a sketch I did in the laundry mat, to a project for my Adobe Illustrator class. I have to keep in mind how the colours look so damn different from monitor to printer. I would like to have something resembling snowflakes, rather than "ink splatter", and maybe a bit of detail for the tree, and of course add in the... feet? Talons? or some detail that the are indeed perched on the branch rather than floating on it.
